So after so many days of preparation work, I am sure everyone are looking forward to this very important step, ie. To determine what you really want to do with the rest of your life. In the following 8 questions will help you to determining what you want, while identifying the major worries that may stand in your way.
- What would you really want to do with your life, especially if you had no limitations?
- Make a list of ten goals you would like to achieve in the months and years ahead, in the present tense. Select the five goals from that list that would have the greatest positive impact on your life.
- What do you really love to do from the list? What gives you the greatest feelings of value, importance, and satisfaction in life?
- Write down your three most important goals in life after you have think through the earlier 3 questions above.
- What are your three most pressing problems or worries right now? Couple with the three most important goals above.
- Determine how you will measure progress and success in the achieving of these goals. Write it down.
- Now, make a list of everything you can think of TO DO that will move you toward your goals. Take immediate action on at least one thing.
- Determine the price you will have to pay in additional work, time, and commitment to achieve your goal. List them down and re-assess them again in later stage.
Once you have decided upon your true goals, it is important that you uncover what your major definite purpose is. In doing so, you activate the reticular cortex of your brain. This in turn attracts the people, information, and opportunities in the universe to your attention that will help you to achieve your goals.
Lastly, you might wonder whether is there any goal setting posts after I have reveal the these 8 questions. Definitely, identifying your goals is just the beginning and the easier part, the execution and tracking is the one pull most of the people down. So do remember to review James Soh’s The Ladder of Dreams manual. If you have not do so, please download your copy here as soon as possible.
