Our emotion always influence our lives and the problem arises when we realize we have no or very little control over them, even thought we know that happy and sad can shift within seconds. A 100% happy life is not possible, but there are ways to train ourselves to react better to problems and difficulties. Let’s have a look at some of the most frequently methods I used to cheer myself up.

- Always connect with children or animals. I am always “contaminated” with their joy and innocence and at least temporarily, a huge weight will be lifted from my shoulders. Children are also great teachers, even though you might not realize it. A simple toy can easy cheer them up and you will easily infected with their joy.

- Always reward myself every now and then, this could either big or small. After a long day struggling with problems in my simple mind and body need some time off. I always do one of the favorite things, such as have my favorite TV shows, take a hot shower, enjoy my favorite coffee. Fun moments will remind you of how life should be and this will motivate you even more to do your best and solve all problems as fast as possible, so that you can go back to fully enjoying life.
- Instead of worry, I will gather some courage and act on it. Over times, I realized that thinking about a problem for hours and hours will not do me any good. Hence, I decided to take action, thing will never change if I leave it alone. So if you always think of jogging, for example, and you are lazy and lack of accompany to go with you, just wake up one morning and do it. Don’t think about it, don’t analyze, just go. The sooner you you start it, the less chances there are of letting them grow out of control.
- Pick up some creativity hobbies. I always make time to jog. This will keep my simple mind fresh and away from worrying. This is also the way for me to relax. So if you don’t have any hobby now, try to find out one in those hobby shops or hobby stores near you.
- Have coffee with friends at Coffee house, especially starbucks cafe . You will probably share my thought too. Having your favorite coffee with friends at Cafe. Research has proven that talking and gossiping is one of the good ways we can use to relax ourselves. So do buy me a coffee if we meet up next time!
- Keep a simple mind. Make room for my mind to rest and relax. Think nothing and do nothing. I always spend about 10 minutes every morning to clear my mind, like computer clearing their caches.
These are my fun ways to handle stress and cheer myself up. It might not applicable to everyone here, but if you have not try one of this, there is always no harm trying
