Live my life:Having coffee with Lee Kuan Yew

October 16th, 2007 · No Comments

Reading is one of the best disciplines I know of to keep ourselves up. Reading from a great book is really all about having a conversation with the author, and we become our conversations.

Just think about tonight, by reading Lee Kuan Yew’s Lee Kuan Yew in His Own Words, over a cup of coffee, you can get behind this great leader eyeballs and learn what made him a world class leader.

Do you know that by reading a book by someone you respect allow some of their brilliance to rub off on you, and the hand that put down a great book will never be the same. I was never be able to imagine the power of reading until I discovered new perspective in Mahatma Gandhi’s book My experiments with Truth, which had lift me to a whole new level and change the way I see the world.

Over years, books that I bought have shaped my thoughts, and formed my personal philosophy. They have made me the man I am now.

So start cultivate the habit of reading. You will never know what you will pick up from and how much this will shape your thoughts.

“A mind once stretched by a new idea can never return to its original dimension”
